Over 30 years in plumbing.
Sketchley & Mason was amazing. They took care of a huge plumbing problem at my home. I had had other plumbers come and give me an analysis and estimate for repairing my problem. The cost estimates made me freak out. I thought I was going to have to take out a second mortgage on my home. Not really, but seriously it was scary and I didn't know if I could trust them.
My place of employment has been using Sketchley & Mason for as long as I have worked there and more. We had a clogged bathroom drain and so I searched for a plumber thinking Sketchley was a commercial plumber. I just didn't feel right about the company that came out not to mention they spent an hour trying to clear the drain then called back up so two vans and two guys spent a lengthy time on the drain with no luck.
I actually helped navigate my friend to this business when her plumbing was acting up. She had purchased a condo with a second bedroom / bathroom addition: unfortunately whoever installed the plumbing used a straight pipe to connect the new bathroom onto the main line. After about a month, her toilet and shower would overflow in the addition because the water was pooling in the straight pipe and not draining properly.
We've had a problem for years with one side of the house's sewer. I'd snake it every few months and we were fine. Then it became every month, every week and every day. O/K time to fix it. Called out a couple of the Rooter companies in the area to get guesstimates. $1600 and $1900 to dig and cut out a section of pipe that was root bound just outside one of the bathrooms, then install a 2 way clean out manifold. Seemed VERY pricey, so I checked prices on the fittings at Home Depot and found the parts were about a hundred bucks.
Jeff Riddle with Sketchly & Mason is very responsive to my emergency call for help. The technician Mike was very helpful! thorough and courteous. I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND SKETCHLY & MASON FOR ANY PLUMBING NEEDS. THE PRICE WAS IN MY BUDGET TOO! Don't shop around go with the Best, Sketchly & Mason!
